I have recently transitioned from a student role to become the new administratvie support assistant for our center. I work closely with our associate director, Lisa Higgins, to keep the center running smoothly and ensure our members have what they need to be successful in their research and clinical efforts. Some of my duties include reconciling financial transactions, documenting donations to the center, coordinating travel plans for our members, and helping with the research grant submission process. I am also responsible for training and managing our new student assistant, who will be recruited and join us in Spring 2025. I am currently in the process of obtaining my master's of public health degree in environmental and occupational health with an emphasis in industrial hygiene at UA MEZCOPH on top of my role here at the VFCE.
